Schlitt is excited that the song, which was written by the CD's producer Dan Needham, along with Dove Award winner and 2008 BMI Songwriter of the Year Ed Cash, was chosen by Sony executives to be part of the competition.

"This kind of opportunity is hard to come by and I praise God for it," Schlitt says. "I feel very honored that Sony has chosen to feature my song."

Schlitt kicks off 2013 with the new single after a busy 2012. During the past year, Schlitt released his fourth solo CD, The Greater Cause; toured extensively throughout the world; performed at the Faith and Freedom Celebration, the faith-based kick-off to the Republican National Convention; and made a host of national media appearances, including CBN's 700 Club Interactive and The Mike Huckabee Show, where the singer/songwriter appeared at the invitation of the former Arkansas governor, who endorsed Schlitt and his music to his nationwide audience.
